Our social worker received J's legal papers!!!!! These are the papers sent from Korea that are needed for everything else in the process to now move forward. We are so excited...we are one step closer to bringing our son home! This step happened so much quicker than we had thought it would; we were expecting to wait another 3 weeks at least. The SW will now send the legals to DCFS for the second approval letter; let's all hope that the one woman who does all these letters is not sick or on vacation!!
We bought J's crib and changing table over the weekend from friends in town. The crib is still in pieces, but the changing table is set up. I cannot wait to put the crib together and clean it to make that golden wood shine for our little boy! First, though, we need to make room in the nursery to put the baby furniture. I can't wait to get the room painted and all set up with all his little clothes washed and put away and his toys sitting out, ready for him to come home!
We're off to celebrate with some ice cream tonight!!! Yum!
