Grandma came for a short visit a few weeks ago while my hubby was out of town. She came to play with Boo...and they both enjoyed their time together. My dad likes to say that she's a 6-year-old with 61 years of experience! She is absolutely amazing with kids and if I can be even half the mother/grandmother she is, my child will be pretty lucky! I only got one picture while she was here, on the day she left, which is also the day I didn't have to work. But what a wonderful picture! Look at the joy on my son's face and Grandma's love for him showing in her face and smile.
Bringing the outdoors in...
Yep, that's snow that they're playing with in the kitchen sink. They were building a fort, digging out the underneath and seeing how high they could pile it on the sides, packing the handle of the yellow rake in Boo's hand with snow and then tapping it out which formed a long cylinder of snow. And look...she even had him wearing his gloves! They were playing in snow, after all. :) He was They were both having a blast!! Thanks again, Grandma, for making the trip up here.
